  1. Inspect and maintain your tires at all times

Avoid having flat tires all the time. Ensure that you inspect your tires! especially when going on that long trip. You don’t want to spend the whole day on the road as a result of bad tires.

2. Change the oil

It is very essential to check and change your car’s oil at intervals ….weekly, monthly…. depending on your car’s mileage and as directed in the manual. Also know the type of oil that’s best for your car to keep it in good working condition.

3. Check the lights

Thoroughly inspect the lights of your car .A broken or burnt-out bulb is a safety hazard and might get you a ticket. If a bulb is out, take your car to an expert to determine whether it’s the bulb or the fuse that needs replacing.

4. Check the fluids

Your car’s fluids e.g engine oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid should be kept at the appropriate levels to help keep your car running properly.

A leak with any of these fluids can affect the way your car drives and thereby cause accidents.

5. Wash your car

Your car is subjected to all sorts of dirts from the roads. You don’t want to go out with your car looking unkept. keeping your car clean always may help prevent long term damages.
